PTE Reorder paragraph
Reorder paragraph gives you a jumbled paragraph broken down in sentences in one box and you need to reorder the paragraph in the correct sequence in the other box. You may get 2 to 3 of the Reorder paragraph questions in the PTE test and within each question, there are 4 to 5 sentences. There are hints within the given unordered paragraph, which you need to identify and use to your advantage in finding the correct sequence. So, you need to have a good knowledge of paragraph structure and coherence, in order to identify and use those clues. The whole PTE Reading section is timed to around 30 minutes, but there is no specific time for the Reorder paragraph questions. So, it is a good strategy to follow a timed approach for all questions, but don’t spend more than 2 minutes per question, otherwise you are in risk of missing a few questions.
So, the strategy to solve the PTE Reorder paragraph questions is to firstly identify the independent or the topic sentence.
