Your response to Summarize Written Text will be scored as 2 points if it is grammatically correct, while the answer to Summarize Spoken Text will receive 2 points if it is grammatically correct. You get 1 point for grammar if you make a few grammatical errors (1 or 2), while if you make any more errors, you won't get any grammar points. In PTE Summarize Written Text, vocabulary, you can get 2 points for using appropriate words. For using less appropriate words, you get one point, and for using no appropriate words, you get zero points. Lastly, for spelling, if you make 1 mistake, you get 1 point, and if you make more than 1 mistake you get 0 points. You can only get 2 points if you do not make any mistakes.
Therefore, if you satisfy all the marking criteria set by the PTE, you can achieve 10 points. However, you must be careful, as you will receive zero points if you write irrelevant content unrelated to the audio recording. Use appropriate punctuation and never type everything in capital letters.
